The new CPRs have now come into force.
We talk with many property agents. It seems the views held range from this is just a storm in a tea cup to this is a comlete game changer transforming an agents liability beyond recognition. The are also a few agents that have said “CPRs, what are they!!”
Whatever the view held they are definately worth knowing about as an agent and as a land lord.
We would also say that if ever there was a time where professional indemnity was worth having for an agent then now is it!
What we don’t know can hurt us and being made liable for a duty you were not even aware you had is a real possibility now as these new laws take shape.
