We all want business.
And we all don’t want to pay more than we have to for services.
If you are a landlord or a property agent, it could be quite tempting to go for the cheapest Gas safety Certification engineer.
It could be tempting to try a new guy because he is offering the first 2 free and you can still charge this to the landlord!
But consider this. The engineer is useless. He issues a certificate on a property which is not up to standard. The tenant is injured as a result.
If you are the landlord or the tenant and YOU HAVE NOT PROPERLY checked out the engineer you have used for this, then you are first in line for being sued.
No one can guarantee the quality of someone else’s work. But everyone can make a few checks to ensure they are not recommending complete….well…we’ll let you complete the sentence!
