CASE STUDY – The Problem
A while ago, the team at SimplifyER had two tribunal claims going on at the same time. One of them was covered by insurance, but the other wasn’t and they’d forgotten to notify SimplifyER.
The client’s tribunal claim was a technical legal argument based on a breach of contract. Zameer told us, “We had done all the groundwork on the case but didn’t notify Custodian until very late, when the tribunal date had already been set. I thought it would be a big problem.” But, of course, it wasn’t.
The Solution
The team at Custodian quickly sorted the insurance for SimplifyER’s client. Meanwhile, Zahid spoke to a panel of solicitors from Custodian Insurance’s lawyer partners to find the one with the most relevant experience for this particular case.
The Result
Because Custodian Insurance ensured that SimplifyER had the right solicitor for their client – a solicitor who understood the nuance of the breach of contract claim – the argument was extremely well constructed. The solicitor knew exactly what he was doing, which meant that the case was not only easily won, but much faster than normal, too. So, Zameer and his client were delighted with the result.
